Could only 2 spots be chickenpox?

DS2 has been around a lot of children with chicken pox over the last 3-4 weeks. A few days ago he had a very runny nose and was generally unwell, then he developed 2 big red spots on his tummy that blistered then crusted over. Could he have had chickenpox? Every other child I've known has been absolutely covered in spots. Anyone else's dc had REALLY mild chickenpox, or should I assume that he just hasn't had it yet?

Yep-could be chicken pox-around 10% of children have it without parents even noticing...

yes, but sometimes if they have it very mildly, then can get it again
