Any tips for getting meds (Gaviscon) into a bf'd baby ?

DS is 6 weeks old and supposed to be given it after every feed. I've tried a syringe, bottle and spoon and he either spits it straight out or gets into such a state, immediately vomits it back out

Any ideas please ?

It does taste disgusting. Good luck. No ideas sorry. Unless you try another flavour - but they all taste revolting.

Maybe try mixing it with some EBM?

I have tried but have to give it 6 times a day so can't express enough to "cover" the taste iyswim ? I'm also supposed to give it after a feed so he's not hungry and not really interested. He's not a big fan of the bottle at the best of times

could you give it half way through a feed? take him off the breast, squirt it in with a syringe and then plonk him back on before he's had time to realise what's going on?
