White spot on tongue?

Quick question! DD (12 months) has small raised white spots on her tongue (mainly at the front). She's otherwise well(except the usual snotty nose and chesty cough ) and the spots don't seem to be bothering her.

I'm still BF her but only twice a day - not sure if this could be thrush (neither of us have had before and don't think I have any symptoms)?!

Any other ideas what it could be, and does she need to see GP?

Thanks

Sorry mrsmong this isn't really an answer - but DD (same age as yours) is having exactly the same thing at the mo, along with the cough and cold too, and the twice a day breastfeeding - are you me, in fact?!

Anyway, this may help: I called NHS Direct today as she seems in a lot of pain today, is utterly miserable and not keen on eating - though she's also teething badly so that might be why... They suggested it might be a fungal infection (like thrush I suppose) and that if she was still unhappy on Monday and the spots were still there, I should take her to the GP. She is now fast asleep and I'm hoping, sleeping it off.

Hoping your DD feels better soon.
