7 mo baby with a cold (vitamins?)

(this has probably been done 1000 times...sorry)

Dd (7mo) has had a cold since Friday.
Can I give her some vitamin C to help fight this cold? (and if so in what form?)
I gave her half a dose of calpol today as her nose was so blocked.
We've also spent an hour in the steaming hot bathroom.
I have used kalvol on her bed and she has managed to get an hour's kip (allbeit in my bed) with her head elevated on a pillow).

any other tips? (my head is fuzzy with my own cold)

Abidec vitamin drops are the only thing I am aware of for this age.

Elevating the cot at head end, Karvol, or Karvol Vapour rub, popping in a steamy room to help clear sinuses, saline nose drops just before a feed so they can breathe and loads and loads of cuddles and BF's to keep fluids up. Calpol or Calprofen to keep temperature down or help if a sore throat. Are the ones I can think of, but you're already doing most of those.

It's really tough when LO's get poorly. Hope they get better soon x

Thanks, I'll have a look at the vitamins you suggested. we raised the bed this pm, not that she has slept in it yet :S
She's also vomitted her dinner an hour ago but seems fairly happy now.
If it's still going on after the weekend I will take her to the GP (started last Friday night).
