10m old vomiting - reflux? poorly? or normal?

10.5m old DS has been vomiting about once a day for the past few days. He eats well, keeps food/milk down fine most of the time but about once a day he's vomiting just a few mins after eating - and vomiting a lot. But there doesn't seem to be a pattern linked to a particular type of food he's eating.

He's happy and cheerful straight afterwards, hungry straight away again and hadn't got a temperature or any other symptoms.

Any ideas? Could it be reflux? Or is it just normal and his stomach getting used to different types of food?

This is going to sound crazy but my DD has a cuple of these episodes when she's teething!!
Happens for 2-3 days

Thanks Nicola. Our childminder thinks it might be teeth as well. It's been going on for about a week now - just finished clearing up from being covered in sick again at bedtime! Poor DS. Hopefully if it is teeth it'll be over soon enough...

My one year old has had recurrent periods of vomitting for the last four months. He vomits profusely, daily for two to three weeks and then stops for a short while. We kept a food diary and I am pretty certain it's not related to any particular food. In between bouts of vomitting he is fine and eats everything we give him wiht enthusiasm.

We saw a paediatrician who says it may be due to mucus build up in his stomach and that to help to avoid vomitting we should give him less milk and more solids. We are only on week two of this regime and he has not been sick. I remain to be convinced however. I will keep you posted.
