Nappy rash - Aloe Vera ??

Apols for one handed typing...

DS is 5 weeks and has had bad nappy rash pretty much from birth. We've tried sudocrem, bepanthen, vaseline etc. but it doesn't seem to be improving.

I use Aloe Vera gel on myself and older dc's for various skin rashes and I find it a bit of a miracle worker but don't know if I can use it on DS. Does anyone know ?

Alternative remedies also welcomed

Thanks

Has he been seen by health visitor/GP it could be thrush, if it's not clearing up I would get him checked out.
My recommendation for nappy cream is Conotrane, you need to ask for it at the chemist, it did the trick for my 2.
Hope he's feeling better soon.

Thanks both. I did wonder about thrush because I had it in the last couple of weeks of pregnancy and DS had a really milk coated tongue as well, but HV didn't seem to think it was thrush. I will check again though and if not, ask for conotrane
