Right gave Ovex on Monday and since then no itching - will give another dose 2 weeks later.

Just noticed tonight when washing ds some worms hanging out of his bottom.

Will these be the dead ones making their way out after the meds????

I had something similar happen with DS, gave him medication and then a couple of days later saw some worms. I phoned the doctor and he said that it takes a couple of days to work, think it kills or paralyses the worms or something and then they get flushed out the body with the poo!
Hopefully this is some help, unfortunately because DS used to constantly have his fingers/everything else in his mouth up until the age of 7, he very often got worms!

Ovex kills the live worms but not the eggs so you will need to re dose later
