threadworms?

Has anyone treated their dc's for threadworms even if they've not seen any?

My dd has had a few accidents the last few nights and is sore at night but not during the day. It suddenly occurred to me that it may be worms though we've not had them before.

Can I treat us for them even if i've not seen any, though haven't looked closely to be fair as i've only just thought about it. Any thoughts? I could just pop to boots and ask them but thought i'd get some info here before traipsing out.

Treat treat treat - then you don' t have to see any of the little devils!

I didn't realise that my son had them until I actually saw them, although the signs you have so cleverly noticed early were there all along!

You need to treat the whole family and clean all bedding, clothes, towels etc. Under finger nails and cut them short.

thank you, funnily enough I cut her nails last night and the washing machine has been on all day. Am going to pick up some stuff when I pick her up from school. Note to self to vacuum the beds again before bed.

thanks

No problem. I'd never even heard of them! Good luck getting rid!
