Ds 19 months old has quite a bad cold, fever, runny nose and looks exhausted, wont eat and slept most of the day. I have given him calpol which sort of makes him better. But he is sooo clumsy, i went to get him out of his cot and in 5 mins down here he trapped his fingers in his toy box and fell and bashed his nose causing a nose bleed which he has never had before. Obviously i have given him plenty of fluids but now im scared of getting him downstairs again as he keeps hurting himself and i feel awful. What can i do to help him?

He hasnt got an ear infection has he? an infection in the middle ear which sometimes doesnt cause intense pain can lead to children being seen as clumsy/falling over/swaying when walking etc.. the calpol could be masking the symptoms
