UTI then ditropan -- any experience

DD is 6 and has had a recurring UTI for the last year and a half. We took her off antibiotics about a month ago. And the infection (much to my surprise) seems to have sorted itself. But, she now wees herself a little tiny bit all the time. Never a big gush. But drips and leaks all day and night. She is now starting ditropan.

If anyone has any experience with a similar situation and knows the common side effects, I would really appreciate hearing from you.

Also, I am wondering if the delay in treating the cystitis (the infection appears to have stayed in her bladder and not travelled up to the kidneys) has actually caused the incontinence, which she did not have prior to the infection.
