Anyone else got a "happy wheezer"?

Ds2, (7 months) has been wheezing for about 3 months now, not been ill at all and fine in himself, just wheezy with a chesty cough. He has a salbutamol inhaler which we have got down to 5 puffs 4 times a day. Just wondered if anyone else was in the same position or if anyone had any advice for us.

I don't think the preventer will necessarily work on such a young baby Pixie.
Some happy wheezers don't use inhalers at all...coz they aren't distressed by it and inhalers don't work very well...not enough muscle in their tubes to work on apparently.

Thanks! Wolf, that's useful to know, I think that's why he's been on a high dosage, he was on 10 puffs a time for a short while. Pixie, we're back at the gps next week, they seem to be keeping quite a close eye on him for now, hopefully we'll get a plan of how to move on. The gp said to go for a day without the inhaler to see what difference it makes but I'm a bit chicken and keep putting it off!
