My daughter who is 7 next week said her nipples were sore and sure enough there are little hard lumps behind her nipples. I am so upset by this, she has only just lost her first front tooth, this seems so early for her body to be changing. Over the last year I have had to wash her hair more often and make sure her underarms are washed well. Puberty started pretty early for me and I remember my breasts budding when I was 8 and a half, my periods started when I was 10. Has anyone had any experience of early puberty like this. I am pretty sure it can't be classed as precocious puberty can it?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

It could be.
My friend's DD has precocious puberty and has 4-weekly injections to slow down her development. She is alot happier for it. They are going to cut them down when she is 9 / 10 and let her develop naturally from them.

If you are concerned, speak to your GP.

I've just done a quick google and I think it is precocious puberty. I need to handle this really sensitively.
Anyone else with experience of this?
Thanks ihavenewsockson.
