Eczema and cradle cap again...

Hi

I have been reading all the threads about eczema and cradle cap. My 11 week old DS has suddenly broken out in both - quite badly. I have been recommended olive oil and kamillosan for the cradle cap and prescribed aqueous cream for round his eyes. My question is how loung should I try a treatmet for. I know I am quite impatient with these things but I want to give the treatments a fair go.

Thanks

Olive oil rubbed in with cotton wool in a circular motion before bed and washed off in the morning does work, I tended to just keep doing it until it went no matter how long it took.

But you can always give your HV a ring to check with them on suggestions? Or go back to GP for something better if it gets worse or doesn't look likes its improving?

Have you tried Bepanthen? It is meant to be the best thing for Cradle Cap.

Hope that helps.
