Itchy bottom and red rash around it - is it worms?

Ds2 has an itchy bottom and it's red around it - it's itchy all the time, not just at night/1st thing in the morning. Should I be thinking worms, or something else?

worms do not usually have a red rash round the bum...could he have made it sore wiping it?

i would see the doctor, my ds had this, went to drs today and turns out it is thrush. best to have it checked out x

Ah, that's interesting. It looks more like thrush actually. I think I'll go to doc.

sounds like thrush. Have they recently had antibiotics or steroids at all.
