weird cold/fluey bug

has anybody else's children had this recently.

my dd 5, has had a sore throat, cold, horrible cough which makes her sick for a week now.

we stopped at my mums for xmas now my mum and dad have it and not sure if me and dh have start of it as we have sore throat.

anybody know how long this lasts for.

I've had a bad cold since before I finished work for Christmas. Really thought I would've got rid of it by now. Weirdly I don't seem to have passed it on to anyone. It starrted with a sore throat, for past week been at the catarrhy stage, can't go anywhere without tons of tissues. Will probably be better in time to go back to work

Yeah dd has it and so do her cousins. My Dad has it too.

The cough is the worst bit.
