Constipation solution!! Thought I would share!

My DD has suffered from constipation since changing her to cows milk at a year (now 2.9).

Have tried everything includng prune juice, orange juice, fruit, veggies in their hundred weight, cut out cooked carrots, cut out dairy although allergy test showed a negative, lactolose, senna and so on. Then, before Xmas she was in hospital with pluerisy and thr doctor prescribed movicol which I was not to use until she had finished her antibiotics.

Well, after the antibiotics I started her on a course of acidophilus to combat the problems that the antibs would have caused and bingo!! The acidophilus has totally sorted the constipation and she now poos every day pain free. Genius !!

Anyway, just thought I would share just in case anyone else was at their wits end as I was and wanted to try something else other than prescription meds.

kiwi fruit are brilliant - but you need to eat a few.

I have stopped giving my son eggs and it has worked like a miracle cure for his constipation. I can't believe I didn't do this earlier as it's been on my mind for ages.

What is acidophilus? And where do I get it?

Got to be better than sitting him in a warm bath every couple of days and waiting for the brown snakes to slip out!!
