stupid question about puberty/breast growth

dd is 9.5. she has a small hard lump (smaller than a raisin) where her nipple is, kind of under it. on one side only. is this her breasts starting to grow? I have no recollection of how this started in myself. sorry for asking something so daft. googling found me this - but I'm not entirely it answers my question.

Yes I remember it feeling like that when my breasts started to grow.

How does your dd feel about the change occurring in her? My dd1 is 8.5 so all this is not far off.

she's delighted actually! which is nice. I need to ratchet up the knowledge though - she knows the basics but we haven't gone through the whole puberty thing in any detail.
