DS has a cold (runny nose, cough) had a raging temp on & off last night & today (is responding to nurofen & calpol though) and has noisy bretahing which weirdly gets worse when we picl him up. He is 20 months. Is this probably just flu/swine flu? Cant get to Drs now, as obvioulsy xmas eve, but feel uneasy not being able to get to see a GP til next week!

My DD has asthma brought on by cold/flu, and she sounded similar when she was first diagnosed. If i pphone NHS though, they are just going to diagnose swine flu, arent they?

How is he, Maduggar?

I hope he's being seen - asthma isn't pleasant but is very easily treated in most cases, so if it is that then he'll be fine by tomorrow.

Let us know.

DP has taken him up to the Infirmary to be checked over. Still waiting to hear.

good. hope he's ok.

Its refreshing on mn to hear that someone has been sensible and had ther child seen to rather than dither for the night whilst people strongly suggest seeing a dr.
