Thank you everyone.

He's out and back on the ward now, chilling out on morphine

(had his right temporal lobe + a bit more removed to try & cure his Infantile Spasms)

comefollowthatstarwithme · 23/12/2009 19:34

Thinking of you all JKS ((hugs)).

PheasantPlucker · 23/12/2009 19:50

Seizure free for 8 months, then 1 seizure last month, but prob as a result of the injury on the other side of his brain (he and my dd were v prem infants, and had grade 4 IVHs on one side of their brains and grade 2 IVHs on the other, so he has a small amount of injiury on the 'good' side)

But they have been so very pleased with the results, and are very glad the op took place. He is 8, and had v severe epilepsy.

Hope all is well with you all x

TipsyFairydifferentID · 23/12/2009 20:00
