She's 2 and 6 month now and she used to have big poos once in three or four days. I did suspect she might have constipation or withholding problem, but starting last week, she hasn't done any proper poo. It just smudges a tiny bit everytime I change her nappy and does not come out in chunks... She does have time to sit on the potty while she watches TV and she used to do poo, but now she hasn't done any in a while so I'm getting quite worried. I am giving her 1 teaspoonful of fig syrup that you can get from Boots but it doesn't seem to be helping. Does anybody have same experience..??

I'd take her to the doctors for a chat if I were you.

He/she might well prescribe Movicol, which is very gentle and works well on little children. It does sound like she's constipated tbh.

Also, you could try Lactulose, which you can buy over the counter, also very gentle and effective and quite nice tasting!

Prune juice diluted also might help.
