13mo DS has a horrid cold with nasty cough (feels like we have a colicky newborn again with the screaming sleepless nights), so temperature and coughing only when he's been asleep or lying down for a while.

He's due his first MMR on Friday, should I cancel until his cold is over, seeing as MMR seems to have high risk of side effects of miserable colds too?

if he has a temperature then I dont think getting the MMR is advised so I would postpone it

The GP advised us to cancel the MMR if DS was at all ill. He had a cough last week, no temperature and they said to cancel. I've had to cancel four times now!
