DS has an awful cough again!

was only 6 weeks agao he was last at docs, given anti-biotics and an inhaler but coughs back, he looks so poorly,

hes always been like this, very chesty.

Shall I take him to the docs again? What will they do? can they refer him to somewhere>?

i would be tempted to take him back as it may be that the antibiotics didnt clear the infection properly last time. This happened with ds1 a couple of years ago and the doctor was actually very helpful- i thought he might think i was paranoid!

As a child i always had a really bad chesty cough which was eventually refered to hospital for xrays, though i couldnt be sure for how long i had it before i was referred. In short, take him back. You know him better than anyone, and if hes really suffering then he needs checked over.

I hope so too. its a bit rubbish being ill at this time of year, never mind when you are little.
