DS2 is 14months old and has had an ear discharge for 3 weeks. We have been told it is a perforated ear drum and the discharge is the infection coming out of the middle ear. He has had 2 courses of oral ABs and now after a visit to the ENT clinic we are applying AB ear drops since last Tuesday We had though the ear drops we clearing the infection but the discharge has stated again yesterday.

I will call the ENT clinic tomorrow to see if we should go back, but I just would like to hear if anyone else has had an DC with and ear discharge go on for so long and what the outcome was in the end.

He is more perky that he was a week or so ago but his sleep is very poor so I think he still has some pain.
