DD has a nasty croupy thing 1 1/2 weeks ago which has left her with a nasty cough albeit very loose.

Her chest sounds a bit crackly at times and it is not shifting What can we do? she is 3 btw.

How is she in herself? Does she have a temperature? Is her breathing ok? If so, take her to the doctor.

Coughs can hang around for ages after the initial infection has gone, and if she is being her normal self, then I wouldn't be too concerned, but for a definite answer you need the doctor to listen to her chest.

no temp, very happy in herself.

can they linger on for a while? I didn't know that..

May give it another day then take her just to be sure, it just seems to get better then return.
