Shaking eyes in a baby

I'm a bit worried about DS3 who is 4 weeks old. For a few days now his eyes have been a bit shaky - not all the time, perhaps more marked when he's tired but hard to tell. They shake from side to side and up and down.

I've just made an appointment with the GP for tomorrow but wondered if anyone had experienced the same and what the outcome was? I've had a quick look online and I'm aware this can be associated with vision loss so am not expecting just to be told stories of eye shaking that just cleared of its own accord.

TIA

I'm pretty sure one of mine had shaking eyeballs and I was told it was something to do with immature eye muscles.

It DID just go away.

Bumping - GP has referred to a neonatologist but would still be interested to know if anyone else has experience?
