3.5 year old ds1 was prescribed melatonin for various reasons last week and so far it seems to be helping. I had never heard of it (alot of people since said they have) so have done research on it and whilst i wont be stopping it for the 2 weeks it has been prescribed, i have found quite alot of negative feedback about giving it to young children but why is this? I know you can buy it OTC in america but not licensed here for children. Obviously if it was misused i understand, but what is wrong with it?
