Help with 17 MO Ds and Poo

Morning MNers,

DS has had really watery runny poo since Friday. It doesn't smell like his usual offerings and sometimes I can only tell he has been as he is leaking through his nappy.

Other than that he is fine, although last weekend we had conjunctivitis and a cold but he is off those meds now.

He is eating fine and drinking normal amounts. Should I be making a trip to a&e? or just hoping it rights it self?

Thanks

Make sure he has plenty of fluid, but I wouldn't worry about taking him to A&E. Call NHS direct if you can bear it, otherwise, might be worth making a dr appt tomorrow if no better.

Probably its related to the cold etc which makes poo more mucusy for starters.

Also, if you let him lie on lots of towels it would be w good idea to let him have some nappy free time so he doesn't get nappy rash.
