Oh buggery bollocks, DD2 now has Impetigo on her THUMB.

Her SUCKING thumb. She is 2.1 and I can't stop her sucking it. Putting a plaster on it resulted in 45 minuts of screaming until she figured out how to get it off. Which means I can't use the cream on it anymore I now I need to get her oral antibiotics. Which she hates taking.

And DD1's (3.10)cut on her noe inflicted in school last week when she was bashed over the head with a stick is becoming lovely and infected, so I need to put cream on her, which she hates and has to be held down and forced.

SO not only am I stuck in the house for the forseeable, but 6 times a day I have to hold one of my children down and force medicine on them, while trying to stop them infecting me in the meantime.

Fuck.

I have done precisly feck all today to help my guilt as well.
DD2 has the runs too, I think I can smell sense the filling of her 6th nappy today.

Oh goodie. As if living in the hosue of plague wasn't enough DD1 has just woken up crying and covered in snot.
So we have skin plague, nappy rash, blistery thumbs, the runs and now snot.

DD1's best friend from nursery (who she saw every day last week and is constantly hugging/kissing/holding hands) has just come out with Chicken pox along with her sister!

It's ME with the scuzzy blisters on my face!

I am sporting a spectacular yellow bunch of grapes on my lip. Yuk. I am seeing if its better by the morning with the cream, if not then flucox. Sigh.

The antibiotic cream is brilliant mind, started it thursday afternoon and swapped DD2's to liquid friay afternoon. This morning the yellow patches had gone from DD2's chin and bum, it just looks chapped and DD1's nose, where it was starting, is more or less clear.

Her thumb si bad but her sucing it won;t help I am sure.

Much sympathy though!

Hmm, have been putting cream on for several days now, am hoping a curry this evening will blast it away but if not then abs tomorrow.

Glad your children are improving though. DD gets it sometimes and it's not nice for kids.

What cream is it? I have Fucidin on prescription. Apparently over teh counter stuff is useless as you need to clear the infection before trying to 'heal' it.

We'll be fine. Until the chicken pox spots come out.

It is fucidin. Normally works but I am a bit run down atm.
