How long before resuming normal service post-fever?

My 12mo has had a fever for a couple of days and, after a horrid day yesterday has woken today nice and cool and back to her old self laughing and giggling.

I've kept her at home today but could do with getting back to work tomorrow. Do you think it would be safe to send her to the CM tomorrow if she goes a full day without temp today?
I only ask because she did have a temp on Monday but seemed fine Tuesday so I sent her to the CM but she got worse Tuesday afternoon/evening with a 102 temp which went into Wednesday. She slept for hours yesterday so I think it might have finally broken but I know that these things can come and go with babies.

Urgh - I'm in a real dilemma as I don't want to scupper my job - I'm on probation with these part time days and hours and really had to fight for them

I'm in a similar situation - 12 month old DD's fever broke last night and she finally had a reasonable amount of sleep. Kept her in today as her older sister is still feverish, but if all goes well she'll probably be back in nursery tomorrow

Spoke to GP earlier in the week who felt it'd be fine if temperature is ok without calpol and behaviour back to normal

Thanks oricella

Am wondering when my life became a set of spinning plates. Oh yes it was when I became a mum
