Chest infection - after AB's?

Ds had a chest infection so has been on antibiotics, took the full course, but still has quite a bad cough and is coughing up flem...

Should i take him back to G.P? or does it take a while to go?

I woudl take him back - it has just taken three lots of antibiotics to shift my daughters chest infection!

alot of chest infections are viral so antibiotics will do nothing to help. If the phlegm is green then go back to doc.
