Anybody with any ideas on using a dummy to help with reflux in 7 week old? I read that the saliva helps to neutralise the stomach acid.

Not sure but DD2 had reflux and used a dummy - not sure if it worked because she started to breastfeed incorrectly so I had to get rid of the dummy and be a human dummy instead.

Things that helped were lifting her mattress with a wedge, keeping her upright after feeding, giving feed thickener after breastfeeding or in bottle when bottlefeeding.

She grew out of it eventually at around a year. Felt like a very loooonnng time!

Thanks Sibella1. We are trying the dummy but also keeping him upright during and after feeding and propping up the head end of his moses basket.
