Hi, Im new to Mumsnet and would welcome some advice. My DS2 is 19 months and has been ill with vomit and now diorrhea since Mon night. Mon night/Tues he was sick about 10 times and couldnt hold down water; he had a temp of about 38.5. He saw our lovely GP who was a bit concerned about dehydration so rang me about 10pm to see how he was. By then he had held down Calpol and taken on water and so was ok. But yesterday, and again today it's a bit like having a new born again. He is awake fo r no more than a couple of hours at at time. He still has a temp, controlled by calpol as he is no longer being sick much (just twice yesterday) he is drinking small amounts of milk and had (literally) a handful of cheerios yesterday eve. i also managed to get diarolayte (sp!) in him yesterday. He still is having episodes of diorrhea. Should I be expecting an improvement by now? thanks for your help, strange as it seems in my nearly 4 years of being a mum this is the first d&V I have had to deal with!
