I want the SF vaccine for my two but how do I GET it? Does the GP contact you once it is available, or what?

Just got it for Ds (eight with asthma) but had to ask for an appointment. I'd assumed that he'd get called up but nope. Give the GP a phone.

I think you have to wait until your PCT has the vaccine in stock.

dp is immunocompromised and is still waiting for gp to receive stock.

Have had mine as frontline nhs in high risk area.

I guess it means keep ringing you gp to check availability.

at the GP where i work we are doing it exactly as the PCT tell us too. they are sending us lists of people - they are doing it in stages with the most at risk getting it first. so those with underlying health conditions such as auto immune disorders or chronic asthma.

the theory is that everyone will get it at some stage but they are staggering how the vaccine is given and also how many are delivered to each doctors at a time.
