My DD (6) sometimes says her bottom is sore when she has a wee or poo. She said it tonight as she got into the bath and I thought sitting in the bathwater would help. We dont use soap in the bath as she has eczema but she took it from the side and rubbed herself with it. Then she started literally screaming in pain. She was beside herself. I rinsed her and got her out quick. I had a quick look if everything was ok and her vagina was very red. I put Sudocreme on her as that has soothed her before but also had to give her Calpol before she stopped crying. Any ideas what else I can do? I took her to gp after last episode and he gave us cream but she screamed when I applied it and I had to wash if off.
