Help me judge dd1 fairly! (bit long)

Ok I have 4 dcs. Older 2, well particularly dc2, try to wangle days off sick! He is actually genuinely sick at the moment - headache, temp & cold.

Anyway, dd1 (dc3) is 5 and in yr 1. Over the weekend she had very high temp and headache, neck ache and generally rubbish. She spent most of the weekend lying in bed. She was off school yesterday, but was much brighter and assumed she'd be back today. However in the evening she complained of tummy ache and didn't eat much. This morning she's eating, but still complaining of tummy ache. Temp is normal. A month ago she had awful tonsilitis and missed a week of school - that started with tummy ache (I know how it feels as I had tonsilitis 18 times as a child!). Her throat looks ok at the moment.

What do I do tomorrow? She honestly seems fine apart from tummy ache and I just don't know if that's genuine. She missed a day of school earlier in the term when she had a cold and 2 other days with sickness. Last year she missed 2 days in the whole academic year! Do I send her if she's still complaining tomorrow or not?

Had such a crap term of illness. We usually avoid bugs, but have caught everything going this term.

Don't know whether its right or not, but with my dcs if the only complaint was a bit of a tummy ache, it would be school tomorrow. I am quite mean about these things though.

Hmm I'm wishing I'd sent her today. I find it so hard to judge. She likes school, but once she's had a day off ill she's not keen to go back.

I have just heard her complaining to her brother that her tummy hurts so I think it must be genuine, but not really enough for a day off school probably.

She'll be going tomorrow I think.
