She has a bad cough that she was given anitibiotics for yesterday, I'm assuming this is the cause?
Do I need to take her to get checked out?

Bathe it with warm water if it seems uncomfortable but go if there is a discharge. Chances are the abs will resolve it too or she has just rubbed it.

my nephew often gets blood shot eyes when he has a viral infection. this is probably what it is with your ds. but if your still worried you could take her along to an nhs walk in centre to have it confirmed.

Thanks, its the very outer eye and only slightly pink so I think I will bathe it and keep an eye on it.

Shes happy enough but has rough coughing fits so hopefully the anti-biotics will help.
