6 yr old & Teething ?

Hi,

I have posted this in Behaviour & Development, but haven't had any response. Could you help me ?

DS just turned 6 in Sept has been unwell recently. Fever's / the runs / feeling sick / sore ears (can't hear properly) / waking in the night etc.

When his baby teeth came through he REALLY suffered. Projectile vomiting & diorrhea (sp?), v high fevers, awful colds. Anyway, this new bout of feeling under the weather has lasted a couple of weeks now and we have noticed that his back molars are coming through.

Is it possible that he is teething again? Have looked up 6yr old teething on the internet and it says that the molars coming through should only cause mild discomfort.

Has anyone experienced teething to this extent in 6 yr old ? It could of course just be seasonal colds etc.

Any comments gratefully recevied.

Hmm, not sure. I know my DD went through it at 3 with her back teeth, but not sure about 6.
