awful sore yucky patch behind DS's ear, he is 18 months old. thrush?

i only have athlete's foot cream type treatment, no thrush cream in the house for a change, and cannot get to pharmacy until tomorrow, but want to treat it today, what do you think?

Mine used to get that from dribbling. Especially during sleep. Could put sudocrem on for now if you think it is thrush.

Thrush prefers warm moist places so sounds a bit unlikely to me. It could be something like eczema or impetigo. I would hold off treating it until you've got someone to look at it and give a definitive diagnosis.

what do you mean by yucky?
