We both have diarrhoea, can DS 11mo have cooled peppermint infusion?

I have had some D&V bug since Sunday, only sick on Sunday but the diarrhoea is persisting with horrible tummy pains.

I can only just face something other than water, so have made a peppermint tea (well, it says 'infusion; so no tea as such!)

Can DS take this too? He's 11 months and just started the diarrhoea today, although he seems fairly happy in himself most of the time.

Yes he can. Withdraw solid food for 12 hours though, see if that fixes things, but keep up the fluids.

Hope the peppermint infusion went down ok.

A point to bear in mind is that apparently peppermint can increase heartburn symptoms as well as acting as a digestive.
Hopefully this isn't a problem for you, but I know a few people who have increased rather than relieved their suffering.
