My 22 month old son still has very few teeth. He has his front ones and about 3 or 4 others dotted about, icluding some back ones, but am I right to be worried?

Nope. Anything up to three is normal for getting molars and some children are just slower to get them. DD had all hers by 18 months but this is very rare. DS has eight and he's 15 months. He's about average apparently. Go see the dentist if you are worried (he should have a check up at 2 anyway) but I'm sure there isn't a problem.

My dd is 19mths and has got the four at the front and has just started to get three molars coming through all at once. I'm not worried, her friend born 5 weeks before her al of them.
