Pripsen - just how laxative is it?

I'm scared of taking it - are we all going to be fighting each other for the loo for the whole day?! Does it give you really bad diarrhoea or do you just need to go a little more urgently/frequently than usual?

No just a bit softer than normal. no urgency .

Pripsen is awful, can you not take Ovex instead?

My lot had cramps with it, he doctor told me to give it to them the first time they had worms. But then I discovered Ovex.#

The last time they had worms, I was breastfeeding and had to take pripsen, but the rest had ovex.

Pripsen is just what we were prescribed. We used to take Vermox but they just keep coming back so GP suggested we try something else. Ovex is the same as Vermox - suppose we could just go and buy that but am loathe to spend out for something we already have free in the cupboard!

Anybody else had problems with Pripsen and cramps?
