Has anyone's tiny baby ( under 12 weeks) had chicken pox?

DD has it.
There are implications for me as I am not immune either but DD2 is 8 weeks old.

I wondered if anyone else had experienced it.

dd had it at 7 weeks old. Only mildly though, she was grumpy with it but no long term implications. Ring the docs to be sure.

Hi
My dd had it at 8 weeks, too. She had a mild case (just a handful of spots) and was pretty much well in herself, just a bit snuffly.
How us your dd in herself?

peachygirl · 31/10/2009 16:58

Thanks,
DD2 is fine at the moment.

I have spoke to the doctor on Friday when we first saw the spots. Me and DD2 are on 'watchful waiting' to see if either of us get it.
Then I may be given a dose of immuniglobin to boost my immunity.

DD1 is spotty but wizzing around as her usual self.

Both of my dds were fine (it started with dd1)and didn't really have a 'bad' dose IYKWIM. I will keep my fingers crossed for you and dd2 x

I had it at 6 weeks, then went and caught it again as an adult! I was fine with it but be aware that she might catch it again.
