Hi,

Last Thursday dd3, (2 and half) was lethargic, moany, (not unusual) and off her food. During the night, (11pm ish) she vomitted everywhere all over her cot and herself.

Friday she slept all day, ie woke for 5/10 min then went back to sleep. Ate nothing but dranke some juice when awake. Went to bed at half 5pm

Weekend, fine, then last night, she threw up all in her bed again. Today she is fine.

Elder sister (4) has had swine flu about a month ago and she does have runny nose and a cough but that's it. Today she's eating fine.

They have dinner no later than 5pm and go to bed and sleep by 7pm

Will just have to see how it goes I guess, see GP if it keeps happening.

None of us have allergies, although the aforementioned sister has had asthma but seems to have grown out of it

Any one else, or is it just my dd with a wierd sickness thing, related to 11pm!!

She's not coughing at all?

liahgen · 27/10/2009 13:29

yes, she has what sounds like a chesty cough.

Maybe the vomitting incidents are not related. Have tried to google, but it's a bit vague really,

I would think that isolated coughing incidents, spaced out by days and happening at night are possibly if not probably related to the cough. Combination of mucus running down throat and irritating stomach and coughing while deeply asleep causing vomitting. My dn always vomits in her sleep when she has a cough. Usually a couple of hours past bedtime.
