White blister on tongue

DS, 21 months has got a whiteish blister on his tongue, I noticed it first on Thursday but it hasn't improved.
He has got a docs appt tomorrow afternoon but wondered if anyone had any ideas. Am thinking it's probably thrush or something similar?
It doesn't seem to cause him too much trouble, and although he's not quite 100% I wouldn't say he was poorly.
His mouth does look a little 'furry' at the back as well but only the one 'blister'.

It does sound like thrush. He may be off his food and this will make him not quite himself.

But if he is running a temp, or had upset tum he may have the begins of chicken pox. Look out for any little blisters

Hope all goes well at the docs in tomor

Thanks KC.
It's not thrush, in fact she wasn't sure what it is but she did find he has tonsilitis, poor monkey! Hopefully the anti-biotics will clear whatever is on his tongue up as well!

Tonsilitis can cause spots on the tongue sometimes, after all it is a bacterial infection!

Good luck with the meds. Try a little bit of garlic & chives in your cooking they both contain anti-biotic properties. But use only at tiny amount whilst Ds is on meds
