Vitamins and vegeatrian baby

Does a veggie 6mth old need other vits? HV said all babies need vits as well but would he not get what he needs from breast milk and three meals?

No, mine didn't have meat and they didn't have other vitamins, nor did the other veggie babies I know. And they are all bursting with health.

you just have to be sure they get all the essential vitamins in their diet. I used to watch out for foods with iron in - fortified cereals, dried apricots, chickpeas and lentils, eggs. I had a veggie baby cook book by Carol Timperley which was quite useful.
