My 5 month old just helped herself to a fair bit of a sheet of paper that I had printed out some pictures on. Please reassure me that this is not going to do her any harm.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
MrsBadger · 15/10/2009 10:17

nope, but be prepared for a possible paiper-mâché vomiting session later

suis · 15/10/2009 10:18

ooohhh I never thought of papier mache... you don't think it could gum up her insides do you ?

my DS has eaten bits of newspaper, magazines etc that i wasn't able to retrieve from his mouth. just expect it to appear in the next poo your baby does. if you notice anything else, maybe ring the docs.

MrsBadger · 15/10/2009 10:36

no, unless she ate a pot of wallpaper paste too

geraldinetheluckygoat · 15/10/2009 10:39

dont worry, it will be fine, was DS1's staple diet in the early months...

kreecherlivesupstairs · 15/10/2009 10:42

My dd had a liking for tinsel, each nappy change containing solids was a sparkly affair. I am sure she'll be fine.

suis · 15/10/2009 13:37

thank you all for your help. She seems fine so far, so Ireckon we'll just have to wait for it to work it's way through now.
