some sort of bug or virus

has anyboby else's child had a bug/virus that starts with very liquidy vomiting, high temp up to 39.5, very sleepy and mopey.

we are in the northants area.

any suggestions on how to get her to eat as she has only had 2 slices of toast and 2 custard creams since tues lunchtime, she is drinking though.

dds had something v similar about three weeks ago (SW London), dd1 for 24 hours but dd2 for over 2 days.

TBH, I wouldn't worry about the lack of food (well, I would, but know I shouldn't, iyswim } as long as she's drinking. She can probably tell what her body needs, and eating very lightly is a good idea after a stomach bug.

Hope she's better v v soon!

was it just the children who had it or did it spread to the rest of the family and what is the incubation period.
