Question for my niece. She is nearly 4 and for the last week has had her hands down the back of her knickers and itching herself. We have checked and her bum is not red, cut etc. Tried nappy rash cream does n't seem to have helped. She says it is itchy. I do not think she has worms - no signs of this. Any ideas what it is and how to treat? Thanks

I think thats true: my dc's were commenting last night how they've not had nits even though their best friends have.

but we've all had worms.

Maybe admitting this on this thread (ha!) will jinx us and give us nits.

My nephew is under 2 and it says they can't have the stiff - any idea what you give little ones if you are dosing the whole family? Thanks

Pripsen do a piperazine version, which is ok for under 2s. Its sachets, mix with a bit of water or milk or something your nephew likes (its supposed to be raspberry flavour, but...).

Pripsen also do the mebendazole medicine (same as Ovex) so make sure your sister buys the right one!
