How long does it normally take for a second tooth to come through if the baby one has had to be taken out

it will probably come through when it was due and your lo will have a gap for a while.

I guess there is no way of knowing when it was naturally due.

I was told by a dentist (when my DS was facing a possible extraction due to a gum boil caused by a fall) that the second tooth will come through whenever it was naturally due as well.
