Chronic constipation - what to expect with movicol?

Dd3 has chronic constipation, and after a referral has been prescribed movicol. Have started today with 2 sachets, building up to 5 a day over next few days.
Just a few questions really. How long will it take to work? And does adding orange juice in copious amounts affect how it works? Dd won't take it with a bit of cordial , so I'm pretty much adding a glass of fresh orange (after mixing sachet in correct dilution of water).
Any advice from those who have been there would be appreciated

Went through this with Ds1, its fantastic stuff, and does work. From memory it started to work pretty quickly

Thanks WATFORD Did you find ds took it no problem, or did you have to add juice?
DD has now had 2 sachets this morning and nothing yet!! Dare we brave the Post Office?
